Overview
In advance of BIO 2019, Boehringer Ingelheim was provided beta access to LinkedIn Live.
- We hosted the pharma industry’s first LinkedIn Lives at a medical conference (4 sessions over 36 hours)
- LinkedIn ad targeting leveraged the Matched Audience feature. A list of more than 3K attendee company names were uploaded, and 85% matched – a significant rate, resulting in a usable target audience.
- Twitter ads shared personal quotes from BI leaders, information about booth/onsite presentations and compelling takeaways/recaps
Results
- The videos drove a 10-fold increase over BIO 2018 Facebook Lives, and supported BI’s owning share of volume (66%) against competitors.
- Ads generated more than 280K video views with a global audience.
