Overview

LiveSurface/Context is a Mac app for designers to create beautiful mockups (e.g., products, billboards).

The templates are smarter and better than most Photoshop files, but the company had done little to no marketing since launching in 2005. Most social posts were simply posting a mockup preview.

Approach

I created a social media strategy that guided a new approach to things like content creation and designer engagement.

This had many components of a Social Media Playbook, outlining from scratch the online design communities that could be targeted.

I referred a friend and peer strategist who used the strategy to create content and ads for LiveSurface.
