Proactive Blocking on Social Media

It's not just employees and partners that can reflect on your company's reputation, but followers and customers too.

If your company stands for a purpose, that means some people will agree with that purpose and others won't.

And bad behavior should have no excuse if your purpose is true.

Something you can do each day across social media platforms is to proactively block accounts that use bad language or behave in bad ways. For example, accounts that use hate speech and certain profanities.

You can spend 5 - 10 minutes each day, blocking these types of people from seeing your social media profiles. This is a long-term, proactive activity that can defend your social media profiles.
